Condado Inn Tapestry Collection Hotel Review

San Juan has it's fair share of hotels and resorts to cater to any vacation or business travel lifestyle. While the property is not a new comer on the hotel scene, the Condado Inn Tapestry Collection is a newly renovated hotel hosting various clientele. From families, solo travelers, and business travelers, the location alone provides amble services and food variety to satisfy any traveler on a budget.

This is not the first iteration of the Condado Inn. It's life spans a number of decades and housed several other chain hotels. It became a Hilton branded property in 2023 and underwent extensive renovations. While the rooms are nice don't expect a full resort feel to the place. It is not as complete as some of the other properties located in the Condado neighborhood, especially those located along the ocean on the other side of Ashford Avenue.

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable

The rooms have undergone renovation to modernize them. Several have ocean views but most do not. Those with ocean view rooms will find the view obscured with the new Vanderbilt Residence tower being construction. The pool area is small and not cleaned regularly. There is a decent hottub. Breakfast at the restaurant is laughable and you would be better off spending your money elsewhere for a better experience. Check out Pinky's for an amazing brunch.

With trendy restaurants, shops, proximity to the beach, and late night atmosphere the Condado is a great location to spend your time in San Juan. Most hotels offer services for exploring other parts of Puerto Rico but you'd be better serviced going through online portals like Trip Advisor or Viator.
